do you know anything interesting about tuberculosis?
Tuberculosis is a lung disease known popularly as "The Consumption" because of it's talent for intelligent media consumption. It was also called "The White Death," probably because it sounds scary and "The Black Death" was already taken by both the bubonic plague and an 80s metal band.
Tuberculosis is a class 3 biohazard, just like Covid, yet if you tell certain people you're wearing a mask because you have tuberculosis they will freak out you only have a mask, where if you tell them it's Covid they will accuse you of selling fetus legs for the Clintons.
In conclusion, Tuberculosis is by far the worst effect of eating the wrong potato.

I got the “just exercise you’ll get used to it and it gets easier the more you do it for six years during which my lethargy and fatigue only increased to the point that I couldn’t stay awake at work and my pain increased to the point that my ankle joints wore out and my body weight basically doubled and my hair started falling out.
Turns out that I have a gene issue that was resolved with a fucking specially formulated vitamin that my body should be able to absorb naturally but can’t unless it’s formulated differently than normal.
Now, after all this time, I’m finally seeing improvement in every single issue that no amount of Krav Maga or running (activities I loved but had to stop when my ankles and fatigue got really bad) could solve. I’m finally waking up mornings again. My periods are normalizing.
And it’s only now that I am feeling better that people are listening to me when I say working out wasn’t any kind of solution and most often made my problems worse.
Yes, working out it’s important. But if you’re not living in the body you are judging, stfu. You have no idea what is going on.
Like "go exercise, you'll feel so much better once you move your body" doesn't apply to a lot of physically disabled people. And "just force yourself to socialize, you will have fun once you're there" doesn't apply to a lot of autistic people. And "your intuition will always tell you the truth" doesn't apply to a lot of psychotic people. And so on. And I'm not saying that this means that you can't or shouldn't promote these things, but they aren't universal solutions for everyone

The minister of mental health and addictions says the federal government will ban most vape flavours across Canada soon — more than three years after Ottawa first promised to bring in the regulations. "We have made a commitment from the start to restrict flavours. We haven't wavered from that," Ya'ara Saks told CBC News last week. "We will have this in place soon. I don't anticipate this is going to take much longer." She did not specify a timeline. Saks' promise comes after a coalition of anti-tobacco health groups held a press conference in Ottawa earlier this month to call on Saks to introduce the ban swiftly or resign. They accused her of bowing to vaping industry pressure by failing to finalize the regulations this spring, as the federal government had planned.

ALSO!!!! I'd like to suggest to think about whether or not you have a hunger disorder, not eating disorder, hunger disorder
As someone who thought my body screaming it is starving every 1 to 2 hours was normal for a good chunk of my life, I highly suggest people look into how often their body says it's hungry, and how much you have to eat to feel like you're full.
If your answer is the same as mine (more than half a bag of party sized chips), you need medicine to curb that.
Don't go for diet pills, go for medicine the doctor perscribes you, and remember that the goal isn't to destroy your appetite, it's to make it manageable.
Also pay attention to how the foods you're eating make you feel, for me, eating meat by itself makes me hungrier, so I have to eat most meats and eggs with some kind of starch or bread so that doesn't happen.
Pay attention to your body, and try to figure out what works for you and what doesn't. That's gonna help you become healthier, not whatever bullshit diet culture comes up with.
Me: Exercise does not cause weight loss. This is a fact that has been demonstrated so robustly in research that even doctors, who hate and fear evidence, are grudgingly starting to admit this.
Someone reading that post: Cool, but have you considered that exercise leads to weight loss?
Me: I am going to eat you
